Hi, house_stacy fans!

The comm has recently undergone a change in modship. I will now be your go-to person if you have any trouble or difficulties. A few things to note:

I have just instituted a tagging system. When posting, it would be helpful to other people when they're looking for things if you used the appropriate tags. Take a look at the sidebar on the left to see what's available. I can always make more tags if they're needed. Right now, we've got "fanac:" for type of fannish activity such as fic, art, vids, or icons. There's also wordcount, rating, or genre for your fic and art posts. In addition, I've added several "topic:" tags for discussion posts. If I've missed your favourite genre or topic, please let me know!

Please familiarize yourselves with the rules, which are posted in the comm info. Since we're in a new season, please pay particular attention to the comm's spoiler policy, which is that spoilers are STILL SPOILERY for ONE WEEK following the North American airing of an episode.

Please be aware that some comm members are multishippers; other pairings, characters, and actors can be discussed in this comm as they relate to House/Stacy, and without bashing.

If you have any difficulties with a topic, a comm member, or a discussion thread, please PM zulu with details and links so that situations can be dealt with.

If you have any suggestions for ways to make the comm more active and inviting, please pass those along too. More posts, suggestions, members, and so on are always welcome!

Hi everyone,

Shutterbug and I are not really actively involved in Dreamwidth at the moment, so we are interested in passing off the reigns of administrator to someone else in this lovely community. If any of you are interested, please let us know. To make it fair, the first person to comment to this post saying they would be interested in taking it over will be the new admin.

Good news for the community! Dreamwidth has decided to open the advanced customization area for all free accounts. So I retract my earlier request on behalf of the community. I hope to have this place prettified, with rules and guidelines posted, by tomorrow. I'll also try to make a list of tags soon.

Account Status: Call to all members

Hi, everyone. I regret to inform you that we've hit a small snag already. As of a day or two ago, apparently, Dreamwidth has decided to deny access to custom layers to free accounts, which makes it impossible to edit the layout of the community to make it look pretty and snazzy. The only options available to free accounts are the defaults, and allows for very little editing of those layouts.

That said, I (and I know others feel the same) was hoping to make the community look really nice, give it some kick, and make it somewhere that people would enjoy visiting. I had a banner that ticcy made for us and everything. But I can't edit the layout, or use that really lovely graphic now, which is where the call to all members comes in.

If anyone would be willing/able/oh-so-kind-and-sweet as to donate to the community to bump it to a paid account status, that would be really wonderful and generous. In return, I'd offer mod status if that person wanted it (of course, they wouldn't have to take it, but the offer is there). This would really help the community get off the ground and look great and be ready to go. So the gesture would really be appreciated. <3

Hi, everyone! Welcome to the Dreamwidth House/Stacy community! Yay! Like the LJ comm., feel free to post fics, picspams, discussions, etc. related to House/Stacy. Stay tuned to general rules and details.

I'm trying to get a layout in place, but am still getting used to the differences in layout editing here. A better set-up to come.

Also, I'm on the look-out for a co-moderator who would be interested in sharing the modly duties. If anyone's interested, let me know.
